- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 5 tbsp Vinegar
- 1 pack Fish fry masala
- 1 cup semolina flour / rava
- 4 no pomfret whole fish
- oil for frying
Method to prepare fish fry recipe
In a bowl combine 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 packet of fish fry masala, ½ tsp turmeric powder, 5 tbsp vinegar and make a smooth paste
Fish fry masala will generally have salt in them so add salt only if required
Take washed and cleaned 4 pomfret fish pieces
Make cuts on the fish
Add the masala to the fish and coat the masala on each side of the fish thoroughly
Let the fish marinate for 15 to 20 minutes
On a plate take 1 cup semolina /rava
Place the marinated fish on the semolina and coat the rava to the fish
Heat a pan add coconut oil and let it heat on low to medium flame
Gently place each fish piece on the pan
Fish should be shallow fried for eight to ten minutes on each side in hot oil
Serve warm
