Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 5 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 pack Fish fry masala
  • 1 cup semolina flour / rava
  • 4 no pomfret whole fish
  • oil for frying

Method to prepare fish fry recipe

  • In a bowl combine 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 packet of fish fry masala, ½ tsp turmeric powder, 5 tbsp vinegar and make a smooth paste
  • Fish fry masala will generally have salt in them so add salt only if required
  • Take washed and cleaned 4 pomfret fish pieces
  • Make cuts on the fish
  • Add the masala to the fish and coat the masala on each side of the fish thoroughly
  • Let the fish marinate for 15 to 20 minutes
  • On a plate take 1 cup semolina /rava
  • Place the marinated fish on the semolina and coat the rava to the fish
  • Heat a pan add coconut oil and let it heat on low to medium flame
  • Gently place each fish piece on the pan
  • Fish should be shallow fried for eight to ten minutes on each side in hot oil
  • Serve warm

Tava fish fry recipe

  • The same recipe can be followed for tava fish fry
  • The rava coating should be skipped and the fish should be fried along with the marinated masala on the pan
  • Fry both sides of the fish thoroughly and enjoy it warm
