Quick, easy tangy Soya chilli made with BON Soya Chunks. Soya chunks, known for its high protein content, and lower cholesterol value tossed with veggies and sauces, is a dish liked by all age groups. Soya Chilli is a fusion dish, which should be consumed atleast twice a week for its health benefits.

This Indo-Chinese dish is famous for its lip-smacking sweet and spicy flavour, which can be cooked with basic ingredients in less than 30 minutes.

Dry Soya Chilli can be served as just a starter or you can make it a Gravy and serve it over rice, pulao or eat it with roti and naan.

For Marination

Soak 100g BON Soya Chunks in hot water for 15 minutes and then squeeze the water and put the chunks in another bowl for seasoning.

Add 1 tsp salt, 2 tsp Chilli Powder and 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste and make sure that the chunks are nicely coated.

Add ¼ cup of Corn Flour and coat the Soya Chunks and deep fry them in batches. Once brown remove them and keep it aside.

For Chilli Soya

In a pan, heat 1 tbsp oil, add 2 tsp chopped garlic; 2 tsp chopped ginger, one medium sized onion – cut into wedges, one medium sized capsicum – cut into wedges and stir fry.  Add ¼ tsp salt and crushed pepper.

Add 1 tsp Vinegar, 2 tsp Soya sauce, 2 tbsp Red chilli sauce, 2 tbsp Tomato ketchup and 1 tsp chilli powder and stir well

Add ¼ cup Corn flour slurry (i.e 1 tsp corn flour dissolved in 1/ cup water)

Finally add the fried BON Soya Chunks and mix well with the sauce

Garnish with Spring onion greens, green chillies and serve hot

(Please note: For a little gravy you can add water and Sauce as neeed)
